Primary: To climb Hillman’s Hwy

Secondary: To summit Mt. Washington
Leader: Per Frost
Max. 8 – 2 rope teams of 4
Up: Tuckerman Ravine trail, Hillman’s Hwy from Hermit Lake Shelter, Davis Path to Mt. Washington

Down: Either Boot Spur and Boot Spur Link to the Shelter or Lion’s Head tr. (winter route) to connect to Tuckerman Ravine tr.
February 4, 2017 – subject to weather

7:30AM in the gear room at Pinkham Notch – or 8:00AM – RTG – at the TH
Winter travel, ability to use crampons
·        Practice rope travel on a snow-field·        Butterfly knot for tie in
·        Appropriate winter clothing for above tree-line travel·        Mountaineering boots and crampons·        Harness, helmet, mountaineering axe
