We had warm and dry weather for our first rock climbing workshop of the season. We set up two top ropes on the Lower Slab of Pawtuckaway State Park. We talked about anchor building using the SRENE method. The climbing was wonderful and we had the cliff to ourselves for most of the day. Thanks again to the participants; Ben Litchfield, Patrick Murphy, John Stevens, and Howard Gaston. Everyone ended the day on a high note, with finishes on routes from 5.6-5.8- and as difficult as 5.9- by Pat Murphy. Nice! Very strong start to the rock climbing season.
