Both Norm Michaels and Laura Sykes opted out of running for Equipment Manager and Vice President, respectively. Thanks to to the two of you for countless years of dedication to the club not only as leaders, but as stewards of club business and activities and helping enable so many successful expeditions!
Brandon Freeman will be taking over as Summit Sensations Equipment Manager and Erik Anderson as Membership Director. These two gentlemen have been very active in the club over the last 5 years and I am thrilled to have them as the newest members of the Board.
Last, but certainly not least, Rick Laidlaw was elected as Vice President, taking over responsibility of the Leadership Committee from Laura. Rick has mountaineering DNA coursing through his veins and has built a strong mountaineering acumen across multiple disciplines on snow, ice, rock. He embodies the mission of the club to get new climbers on the side of hill so we can all stay busy sharing adventures together as New England mountaineers.
